Details
We are one of the world’s largest development and humanitarian aid organizations, founded in 1937 in Spain. Without political, religious, or governmental affiliation, we work for a just world that promotes children’s rights and equality for girls. We foster change in social norms and public policies at the local, national, and global levels through our reach, experience, and knowledge.

We have been present in Ecuador since 1962. Our projects are implemented in twelve provinces across the country and focus on diverse areas such as education, entrepreneurship, sexual and reproductive rights, early childhood, risk management, citizen participation, leadership, and child protection.

We work with girls and boys to develop their capabilities from birth to adulthood. We also contribute to communities’ preparedness, response to crises, and overcoming adversity. Our work has shown us that when girls have the necessary tools, they become the protagonists of their lives and support their families and communities to move forward. We want an Ecuador with zero tolerance for discrimination and inequality toward girls.
